yea it doesnt look the best but the movement $$$ (bunnyhopping/air control/sliding)
destroys most of the other submissions ive seen though...someone is doing a single player "gold collecting" game....run around for so much seeing how much you can pick up with no target amount :/

its just about the code/overall look
you cant really model with that software (unity) so because its not a part of it he wont award marks for custom models, just the overall presentation. you have to reference any resources used though.
its like he said to me "without character animation youd lose maybe 5 marks max" so i made the shitty run animation...but if i could import a model with animation id earn just as many marks for that than if i made it myself.
youre supposed to be bunnyhopping like crazy :P then you can get up stairs np...it wont handle stairs cos the player just moves in a straight line, theres no legs looking for steps =P and since its a direct import from quake 3 it all just acts as 1 big collider (the step is treated the same as the wall/floor)
if you jump (bunny hopping) & press back you can stop quick enough~ jump + strafe = dodging ability
the rl model is just a less detailed version of the quake rl :P it was imported from QL then just added red+silver
sif id compete with czm =P UA was awesome...i was getting people at college to play it with me ;o
edit: & yea my overall mark for this module should be about 92%...20/20 for the labs and this should be 90%+ (worth 80 of the module as a whole)
