ive learned a little bit of thai as well,bought some magic cards,got to know some assholes from the uk,its fine,but its not like i feel homesick,j i just feel this is not the right place for me,harrow is a place where only success is allowed,everything else restricted. their slogan is "the best we can be". the best you can be is almost never good enough for harrow. harrow praises itself,harrow lies,harrow never tells anything that went or goes wrong,like the too strict class rules,the non-existing freetime for boarders,or even things like "ok weve lost a football match" you read nothing of this in the weekly "harrowian" propaganda newspaper. i am sick of this perfect we are the best proll shit,failure is human,but you are not allowed to show your human side. subsequent racism pokes me as well as the typical "ah,we handled you well in world war 2" nostalgic footballhooligan teachers.
but i am happy,i have a very good contact to the boarders,to the children in gkindergarten,and most of the staff there as well. the boarding house,where i live (kind of an internat) and work in the afternoon is fine as well,but my male boss is just an old man who doenst understand much about the need of free time for young people. i mean whats the point of letting them have like 2 hours of freetime a day? their school ends at 16:00,free time until 18:00 where they have to go to the dining hall and have their supper,just to leave straight afterwards to the boarding house again,for 2 hours of boring prep. year 7 and 8 have to go to bed at 9:30,so they have 45 minutes of freetime after prep,which are actually only 15,because at 21:00 they have to get ready for bed.
yeah, i could tell my opinion,but no one would listen,or find it important.
so i work every day,try to motivate myself,even though no one from staff approaches me directly if i do something wrong,they rather tell the headmaster,to whom i had to go twice already. but its okay,i dont complain,the best i can be is not the best for harrow,and maybe i dont want that. at least i am free of girls here.

ya hes not the best drummer,thats true,but lets say his drumming skills are sufficient :D

If you like Isis and Neurosis, you really should check out 'Burst' most recent album: Origo. That'll blow you away, considering the records you listed above.
