surely you can only lay claim to the title after the release of the game, Foghat Wooter was formed in 1997 & moved to UT1 on its day of release in 1999, which surely gives us claim to first Unreal Tournament Clan, or Joint first, I would be frustrated at the prospect of losing that title to a clan formed months earlier, whom hadn't bothered playing the game...

"title" ? Hardly means anything. does it? And how do you rate it? Is it the minute after it goes gold, one minute after you have played the game, bought it legally or downloaded it?

name me some other pre 1999 clans who moved to UT1 upon its release..

anyway its hardly official, and we haven't researched it, but ''first is still pretty cool'' ;)
