Hit me too, listening to comfortable numb right now and the albums "The Wall" and "See you on the dark side of the moon" should be up there no question about it. They're unique and there will never ever be a band like pink floyd.

But seeing as I'm certainly biased and favoring a particular genre my list is void. I would have thought the brits themselves would value The Beatles a bit more, considering how an international magazine like Rolling Stone masturbates over them everytime they feature a top list of albums (not that this is necesarrily wrong) -- and what's with Massive Attack!? Their entry could easily be replaced by something like Dark Side Of The Moon.

1. Definitely Maybe - Oasis - LOL

2. Revolver - The Beatles - It's ok, probably the best Beatles album, nothing phenomenal though.

3. Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols - Sex Pistols - Decent

4. Ok Computer - Radiohead - Good album, Kid A is leagues ahead though.

5. London Calling - The Clash - Decent.

6. The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars - David Bowie - LOL again.

7. Beggars Banquet - The Rolling Stones - LOL for a third time

8. The Queen Is Dead - The Smiths - Great album, louder than bombs has 24 tracks though and as a result I prefer it.

9. Led Zeppelin III - Led Zeppelin - Good but IV is better.

10. Blue Lines - Massive Attack - Decent but Mezzanine buries it.

Agreed, I'm a bit mystified as to why III is there, the albums II, IV & Physical Graffiti are far superior examples of the real Led Zeppelin sound, sold truckloads more and spawned all of their enduring classic hits. I mean, don't get me wrong it's a nice acoustic album but... well, my vote would have been for Prescene or Physical Graffiti for a Led Zep entry in the Top 10.

Widely accepted as one of the (if not the) finest rock album of the 1990s. I think that's pretty accurate. I love it, but I played it to death in my car 1-2 years ago so I haven't given it a spin in a while. I'm actually doing so now :)

If I have to compare them, I'd have to say Kid A amazes me a little more, but a big part of what blows me away about Kid A is its relationship with OK Computer. This pair of albums makes the strongest case for Radiohead being the greatest rock band of our time. Personally, I'm sold.
