The result of this bet shows how hard to make spread bets are, this shows that the IDEAL rounds Sujoy should have done the bet about were 15, not 4 (seems too low now, but 35% voted against it!)... I mean, spread bets require the creator (not God, the creator of the fixture... 2am toughts sorry) to be skilled too!

You're right Huan, it's key for the fixture creator to have an accurate guess of how people will bet if it's done like that, and handicapping bets is an art that can earn you a high paying job in Vegas if you can master it.

Generally, spread bets are done with double or nothing odds for whatever side you choose. Your $1 turns to $2 if you win, nothing if you lose(though casinos take a slight cut). Instead of having the odds adjust with how the bets are placed, the spread gets adjusted. For example, the spread might've gone up to 10 rounds for Oath in this match as the bets kept going their way. It would've been a tougher pick for most people if it was at 10 rounds, right?

Of course, that would take some more coding to do, and I'm under the impression that it isn't necessarily worth doing.
