And even when whaz popularized it in QL (to the point of appearing in a streamed game once), people were pointing out how it has been done in Q3 almost a decade earlier, having a status of an old useless freestyle defrag trick until whaz rediscovered it :)

Good job! Apparently you can also jump from bridge to railgun ledge on a map called Campgrounds.

Do check that one out since you're on a hunt for previously unattempted, meticulously hidden shortcuts or as we from the "scene" like to call them, trick-jumps!

I remember being shown this in 2009, but did you know you can RJ from shards straight to RA, really hard to do but I've done it many times before in practice, never in an actual game though lol.

qr showed one to me that involved a double jump followed by an rj from shards to ra, if that's what you're talking about.

in Quake Live, if you shoot/use the gauntlet and change to the railgun and shot it and redo with gauntlet you can get the effect of firing continuous rail shots. Is just a effect/glitch tho

gauntlet -> railgun -> gauntlet
