You know what would work? Forget the HD resolution and the 60 fps streams. Forget video quality, forget cool headers and flashy transitions.

A thing that could explode in popularity even among the other colossus and with little financial backing would be what Twitch was before Twitch: a Justin.tv equivalent, a streaming channel where almost everything is allowed (obviously nothing illegal or pornographic).

Where streamers are allowed to speak their minds, have some banter, criticize big gaming companies, China, Blizzard, stream shirtless, do some crazy irl streams, and not have to worry about even their tamest words triggering some snowflake and getting them banned overnight.
