I upgraded from GTX 750 Ti to GTX 1660 Super.
Was hoping for more juice in Eggbots but it's still >200FPS with 100% renderscale going from 144hz 50% renderscale.
Haven't seen what it does in Blender yet :)
Cycles on 750 Ti was silly slow...

FFA with all weaon and high stack is more luck than competitive in any aspect. Shoot 300 LG cells until you make a spawner low? And then some random MG bullet kills him?

My 2 main game modes in idiotical are Wipeout and FFA so far. Both enough action and some creative improvements over CA and FFA.

Some updates from 2GD:

Open Beta
They want to take their time and release a finished, marketable product with open beta. The main focus will be moving from client side netcode, modes and map editor rework.
Game should be up a couple of times until then, to test modes and changes.

Weapon balance
-RL is too strong, mainly due to unpredictable bounce, which makes the fights random. The aim is to make RL more skill dependant.
-LG is too weak, they will focus on improving lg lock mechanics, possibly add some knockback.
-SG is too strong, will change the spread shape and aim to make sg work as in ql.
All of these changes wont be made until they have new netcode ready.

Modes
-Defrag is coming, will have slightly different physics. They have some top defrag players working with them.
-TDM is coming in form of 3v3
-CTF is coming as well. There will be grappling hook, overall goal is to make ctf feel like in q2, so possibly runes. CTF will however be a lot more arcadish than hardcore and competitive.
-Wipeout will recieve powerups to make it less casual and more team-decision oriented. These powerups will be permanent (3 types: +50starting armor, ammo regen, transform MG into minigun).

Quick play and Ranked
-Goldrush isnt very popular, will be available only as custom game.
-Quick play modes will be: brawl, brawl instagib, team instagib, 4v4 wipeout and ctf.
-Competitive modes will be 1v1 / 2v2 arena, 3v3 team and duel. 3v3 team means a queue where you will randomly play tdm, wipeout or a yet-to-be-revealed game mode.

Cosmetics
Shop is almost done, they have 141 weapon skins ready.

Goldrush was so much fun :(
it wasn't popular because the gameplay instructions were not clear, I had to explain almost every game in chat that coins must be delivered to enemy base and also to wait until all coins are dropped, not just touch the delivery area like in ctf. 70% of players didn't understood the rules just from jumping in the mode.

I dont like the sounds, esp. rockets lack ooomph and they are inadequate in general.It kinda sounds like a hobby project.

Yeah, I hope most of the sounds are placeholders...
Shaft and rail bzzzzzzt are pretty bad. Enemy models need to have different sounds. Being ass raped needs to be noticable.
Needs more HUH and Coomph.
