alb is correct here. there is a type of person who waits for and needs for others to make mistakes. this type of person relegates the people who make mistakes into the role of a 'scapegoat', upon which they pile the burdens of their own negative energies. this is similar, in general, to the concept of a 'sin eater'. the reality is that a polarizing figure such as zhu creates an outlet through which ignorant and naive and hateful people can feel justified and entitled to spew their loathing, because 'zhu did something that is generally not approved of'.

it's really a sad reflection of this community that his mostly playful behaviors were treated with such crass severity. zhu's a pretty nice guy, i've found, and very tolerant. i don't think i ever saw him say or do anything overtly hateful, mean, or spiteful. however, most of his detractors were all extremely eager to 'cast the first stone', and the second, and the third, and so on.

are they capable of self reflection regarding such behavior? i don't know. maybe.

Work on that shit, but start streaming Quake again. You were a decent player and were improving. Focus on the things you did well b4 you quit. I'd tune in to watch, and I'm sure others would do too.
