my xp machine i play quake on has died so i have to set everything up again on another pc...

i had a usb hack to run mice on 500/1000hz, then something to disable accel in windows and a registry file that was relative to the monitors refresh rate.. might be that the third thing i mentioned did what the 2nd hack did with more precision or something to do with smoothing. cant recall exactly.

so, what do i need to do on win7 to get rid of accel, smoothing and that crap and run my old mice on high hz..?

any nvidia shit i have to configure to minimize delay?

is there anything else im missing besides messing in bios?
