Scheduled: 14:00 GMT, 31 January 2016 to 19:30 GMT, 31 January 2016
Schedule: Passed

After successful start of #capickup channel, time has come for the first CA Pickup Draft Cup. Date has been set for Sunday, 31 Jan 2016 with start at 15:00 BST. Signups will start several hours earlier at 12:00 BST and will be closed by 14:30 BST. Cup will take most of the day, so make sure you are free of other obligations for the rest of the day.

Unless game times are short you're going to have an awfully difficult time, if you actually get 16 teams to sign up, to finish this event in one day. The problems becomes worse when you factor in Russian players who are GMT+4.

I think we should be ok unless some major technical probs occur (which is not impossible but hopefully we will tackle all of them before cup day).

Uhm , what do you mean ? You just need to add yourself when the time comes and bot will generate teams with 4 players.

You ran some Q4 cups and lots of things on clanbase before as well if I remember correctly. Thanks for sticking with Quake and running cups and drafts etc. Without people like you to run and admin things then Quake would be a lot more dead than it is.

I did run clanbase cups for quake live, while clanbase was alive, but I must say I have never run Q4 cups :/ It was all quake live.
