My requirements:

- Needs to be designed for claw grip
- Doesn't need high dpi (I use <1k anyway)
- Doesn't need side buttons or anything fancy
- No need for dpi on-the-fly

Money is no issue.

You can claw the g400s but its much better suited to palm or fingertip grips.

G100s is perfect for claw

Maybe an SS Rival would be a good middle ground?

Not sure because I havent tried one yet but they seem to be a good shape for claw, fingertip or palm.

other than that, the FW 55 offers basically everything one can ask for at 500dpi.

G100s because it is from Logitech, which means if there is a hardware failure you can most likely request within the warranty period a new mouse e.g. if there is an internal mouse failure or cable break.

I've played claw with many different mice, and honesty the original Zowie FK (not the FK1) was most comfortable for me. G100s is a close second but the FK feels more raw.
