lol was just a joke and an attempt to get some off-topic/pointless thread going on ESR. I'm a perfectly well-adjusted adult, so i can see why, if taking my thread seriously, you'd think i have major personal issues to deal with. but knowing it's a joke...lighten up dude!

and as for my goals, i don't really feel the need to explain my personal goals to you, but i can at least let you know that i'm generally pushing to become better at quake - i'd like to be around 1800 elo on a regular basis - but other things in life take priority (wife, travel, work, friends, etc), so i can't always dedicate a lot of time to getting better at an inconsequential game. other than that, if you're in the Ann Arbor, MI, i'd be happy to get together for a beer so we can actually get to know each other in person - i'm willing to bet that we'll both be surprised at how normal and nice the other guy is. lemme know!
