I don't think that makes it bad necessarily.

It's a pretty quiet model and the sounds are not distracting.

These are hard-coded so aren't needed.

..it used to be buggy. Might be fixed now, but I still don't trust it.

seta r_gamma "1" // Seems a bit dark. Could try increasing a bit, with numbers like 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5. See if you like the effect. Another strategy is to increase r_mapOverBrightBits by increments of 1. You can also dampen the effect of mapoverBrightBits with r_mapOverBrightCap.

seta r_dynamiclight "0" // I'd still recommend 0, but you should know that there are cases when you will miss out on potentially valuable information because dynamiclights can go through walls, and those with powerups or flag carriers give off a bright glow that can sometimes be seen through the wall.
