Some the tricks weren't all that technical l compared to others I've seen, and to somebody who's a casual admirer of freestlye/defrag I wasn't captivated in to watching past 7-8 minute mark, unlike others I've watched. I liked the soundtrack, it would have been good for pure de-frag rather than freestyle, I wasn't feeling any fluidity to the cut or the freecams, it just wasn't enough of a "movie" to get a higher rating that 6. It's a good showcase, and by no means bad, it's just the worktime put in can't warrant a high rating, compared to other freestyle movies that are properly structured.

I get your point, but I always prefer raw material than over-edited ones. Gaming movies are for me more about feeling the game and performances than a movie maker showcase. Even if best movies are often a perfect combination of both :)

When I watch this video, I want to be able to experience the moment of triumph the tricker felt when the landed their run after 100s of tries. I want to see that undiluted, as it was.

Why include a scripted run?? I dont get it..

I'm not a defragger in any way and I don't know any of the unwritten rules of the game, but to me scripted runs are cool sometimes... Shows you how far you can go with the engine and sometimes it's truly beautiful from a visual point of view only

I agree. Its fun to see what people can get out of the engine and see some crazy stuff.

The only problem people have with botted runs is if they are logged online and even then the times will be removed, otherwise I guess you could consider it a work of art, it's basically perfection movement wise.

Hmm, well there aren't that many scripted freestyle runs created because it can take a while, and most of them have already been seen quite often, mainly the cgaz/q3a ones. It's the first one from extra that I've seen, so I think it's kind of new, maybe that's why it was added :P

actually a defrag movie i found entertaining. Maybe because of the unedited nature, letting you see runs, instead of constant stimulation in clipping, syncing stuff etc, plus that overbounce still bothers me how you predict it.

To be honest, most of these clips are from older movies. Especially most, if not all, of the Rob/Otis tricks are from their series "Live to Fly". Just seems like rehashed footage.
