I'm expecting both games to be garbage. but i don't think doom 4 will disappoint me as much as duke nukem forever did. I am preordering later though, doubt i'll even install wolf

now if this game was called rtcw 2...

Both games will suck without a shadow of a doubt, just took a quick glance on youtube. Of course I will be playing them eventually but right off the bat I will run them with a trainer and troll around. Possibly see how well they hold for speed running.

hard to justify spending $60 on a game I probably won't enjoy to get a beta key for a game that could suck really bad

just seems easier to not care anymore. fps dm games are rare nowadays. the ones that do come out are garbage. quake 4 was fun for me when it came out, but I understand why it was complete garbage. compared to todays standards, I think we'd love a Quake 4 (1.3 beyond)

UT3 sucked, anything since then has been questionable.

europe is lucky as shit cause even QW is active there, NA is a wasteland of dead DM FPS games.

what are the chances we get a proper DM game? with companies running servers now, and restricting content like maps, it's almost useless to get excited for a new game. it's not the same anymore, god I miss the old days
