the "keeping shooting" thing sounds like direct input bug. Try if it also occurs with "in_mouse -1" Is ur firmware up to date? I read Kana v1 and kinzu v2 need firmware updates to work without bugs.

That happen to me, is a win7 issue. Try the kana playing QL or any other game.

I had the same issue in q3. Not sure why it stopped, but I can recommend an alternative quake3.exe:

With this it doesn't happen anymore, but you can only play on servers where pb is disabled.

You are using 1000 Hz USB rate, right? It's direct input buffer overflow. Lower your USB rate to 500 Hz.

try restarting steam and see if that helps and loosen your mouse bunjee?
