On another topic, would you know why I can not get a steady 125fps since the standalone ? Moreover, it's not always the case (fps drops). I had nothing started on my pc besides QL and had killed anything I could in the processes.

I never had any problem with qlprism... I know my pc is slowly becoming an antic but still, it's quake 3 (live) :'(.

make sure you've changed stuff like nvidia threaded optimization to off and check that gpu is working on it's 100% speed

Actually seems I've fixed my issues.

I did everything that was proposed to me and more. I also ran a full spyware/viruses check, defragmented my pc, removed dust... I've updated all my drivers, put threaded optimization on off....

Eventually it goes alright now I think <3

Also, doesn't using another value (than 125 or 250) fuck up the correct amount of packets being sent or whatever? (from what I vaguely remember reading?)

It's way more likely that disabling threaded optimization fixed it.

tried maxing the fps to 126. It actually works. However it suddenly felt super jittery/laggy. Disabling threaded optimization didn't do anything, sadly...

Yeah it will definitely give you more FPS but it doesn't fix the actual problem which is likely going to be related to either the way your timer works in your OS and/or on your motherboard, some other motherboard feature like power saving, or video driver settings (I used to have to disable the PowerMizer thing in my NVIDIA drivers because it gave me huge input delay and choppiness).
