I love this, actually. it feels like a homogenic mix between these three bands (you probably know all of them, but what the hell there's no harm in posting 3 vids):

My mom blasted these guys in the car for a while so I'm kind of over it, but you might dig them if you liked Mount Eerie. Local H too.
yeah, familiar with both bright eyes and libertines, though hadn't ever given titus andronicus a chance (enjoyed the song though). somebody compared some of my older music to conor oberst, but i never understood why. i'm so uncomfortable with my lyrics that they're never as lengthy as guys like that.
it's for people who like very droney stuff, similar to stars of the lid. atmospheric & moody & dark.
is this teeel? it's like 80s stuff.
i think this one is destroyer. very solid pop that doesn't pander to commercial fads. there's a saxophone.
this is toh kay. first time i heard this song and the female backing vocals came on i felt grateful to be alive to experience it.
oldest, a project from mick barr. i sent him an email to tell him thanks for making this music. it's not really metal, but definitely metal influences. jarring, dissonant, raspy shouted vocals. kind of like a mix of crom-tech, orthrelm, and krallice. i think it's the creative peak of mick barr's stuff so far.
