have you tried the LightBoost tweak?

i have an ati card, and far as i know the lightboost is only for nvidia cards, but i havent really noticed blur.

the latest lightboost tweak now supports ati cards

you may not notice the blur now, but maybe it will have been more obvious after improving with lightboost. i've only heard good feedback from it.

on the flip side, in quakecon they used older model alienware aw2310 5ms 120hz monitors. i dont think anyone's aim suffered from blur :)

got a 2420t here with a 560ti. can honestly say the lightboost tweak is amazing. wasn't expecting much but the screen is now crt like in smoothness.
