It's not like she has anything constructive to say game-wise anyway. The presence of a girl on the stream would be approved if she'd just sit there naked and smiling to ddk, and ddk doing all the commentating.
That way ddk would stay a bit more energetic for the whole 8-9 hrs of stream (female chatter is too annoying and tiresome for viewers AND casters).

gtg so i'm saying this right now: Liefje's voice and commentary is really cool, she has potential to be a good play-by-play caster, given her good english-knowledge and an ok feel for the game. Hope she doesn't run out of steam because she's doing way better than a lot of guys who were invited, expecially considering it's her first time casting afaik.

Faceit admins at it's best again. Instead of pause the game when evil had 999 (which is their only damn job) they force him drop a map. Very professional.

Well you have to kind of "expect" such behaviour on twitch chat aimed at teen audience.

I don't think you should get agitated by it, there's this person on the screen and thousands of viewers who desperately want a piece of that attention that you're receiving, they will go to all lengths to achieve that - some with witty jokes, others with insults.

You did a great job and I hope to see your face online again despite the situation in chat.

You will also notice that many viewers enjoyed your casting and were excited to see you on Faceit, the ones who are strongly against it don't even have an ESR account or rather, don't want to log in and hide behind anonymous users.

The 'chat situation' is very much exaggerated on ESR though. I saw the entire euro cup and I was almost proud at how quake viewers didn't harass her at all (except at most two retards, out of thousands).

Not every invited guest needs to be 2GD or TosspoT, she has some cool insight on previous events and players because she actually met a lot of them.

I enjoy her presence in the studio, it's refreshing and keeps the idea of various guests alive.

this week's Raphang was just too juicy, whoever missed it is a criminal.

I'm amazed that after SO MANY years, Rapha still made something COMPLETELY NEW when he made that exit RA rocket jump on lostworld, that I've NEVER seen and I bet anyone has either, pretty cool stuff.

I was amazed neither DDK nor Liefje said ANYTHING about it...

Sorry, trick has been done several times before even in official matches - baksteen uploaded a video of said jumps about a year ago if not more - a lot of people on EU servers are practicing this jump when they jump around dm13 alone.

I've watched pretty much all last months competitions (at least semifinals and finals), + another years watching other official games/competitions and I've never seen it, but ok...

don't get people who have no place and just reiterate what ddk is saying, or waste time doubling up on commentating on whats already happened AND significantly worse. not singling her out, theres been others (not so much on face it but during other major streams)

its really frustrating and just kinda cringworthy having to listen to it. so much so i actually just turned it off before i finished. i love watching casted quake, but i want casters i enjoy and can grow accustom to. i know, greedy, but hey, you guys have goals, this should be one. the guest casters are great, don't get me wrong, but they need to be people who *are actually worth listening to*.

most importantly, it ruins the entire professional image of the show.

if you cant bags a good co caster, just let ddk fly solo. he doesnt need to be talking 24/7 or even for every game, let him go afk and focus on the more important series if time / effort is a constraint. perhaps even just a voice over co caster with only ddk in the studio.

theres other options, but you won't get a view from me if this sort of thing continues, frankly, id rather watch with just in game sound on than this sundays show, but seeing as that's not possible, i'll watch something else entirely.

Leifje did really well for her first time casting. Many of the other casters that have been on have had a lot of experience before and some weren't as good. I don't know who you are, but if you haven't tried casting before, you should try to do it alone with some demos at home first to realise how difficult it can be. She did really well whilst also being cheerful and informative along with a camera and 4,000+ viewers watching. It's even more difficult when you know you are going to be in for a load of criticism about your appearance and generally just being a girl in a nerdy boys world.
