Can someone explain how islam fundamentalism is able to develope in europe? The idea of refugee system is to grant asylums to those who are persecuted by islam, not to it's supporters.

They have been allowed to setup monocultural areas which many of them do not take on any of the values of the country they moved to.

I am not scared I only met some recently. They did not establish here yet, they only follow Romanian Universities although they have British citizenship (asked them and they said it). So like, I've read this thread and it has got to go. Because of inciting relogious hatred and xenophobia. Well, to be honest the reason I am nuking this is both because of the xenophobia and that it's incredibely stupid and uninformed.

To help you understand what exactly is uninformed, here are a few myth-busters:

1) Arabs != Muslims. I mean, Islam was started on the Arabian peninsula and all, not all Arabs are Muslims by definition and vice versa. There are also a shitload of ethnic groups that also have a Muslim majority: Moors, Proto-Persians, proto-Turkish, Caucasian (although Azerbaijanis could also fall under the Proto-Persian group, Central Asian, Pakistanis, Indians (even though Islam is minority religion in India, they are still one of the most populous countries with an Islamic population) and Sub-Saharan African.

2) The Beard Conundrum - although demonised by the Western Media even Muslim scholars are unclear on proper facial hair and attire, as this hastily found BBC article on the subject, which I found by googling "muslim beards" and clicking on the first link. Although not confirmed by any source, I can safely say that a lot of the countries mentioned above are located in Middle Eastern Asia, where hair growth is accelarated as FUCK by definition. It's much easier to trim three times a week than to shave four times a day, which is why the beard is also popular in the "hardcore IT guy" stereotype in quite a few countries.

Since when did all the subject became a matter of trust between us? "I can safely say" is the most flawless argument from the entire thread.

Let me put now logics on the table: their beard is about the same size, which means that,
a. their beard do not grow at all, it is magically static
or
b. they cut it very carefully although it grows "accelerated as FUCK by definition", "four times a day". I don't see how else they could keep the beard approximately the same size. Even if this would be false and their beards would come in different sizes this do not explain why we don't have the occasion to see their face clean without beards twice a week? Other two of your points are about a subject that I was just asking if I am not mistaken. Although if the meaning to ask has connotations then as something as formulaic endangers the truth with their existence, then it means that it might be true. But as far as I remember the main question was if they do not consider themselves superior from a sexual point of view, which in regard to the statement of their extremists -people who very often say very loud what most of their people think -in regard to their statement seems true.

i read this and have no idea why it's nuked. i don't understand why a lot of content has been nuked recently, seemingly whimsically by admins who disagree with the content or find it to be objectionable. esreality isn't a place for free speech, i won't argue that point, but the spirit of esreality has always been that the community is outspoken and thick-skinned enough to take care of itself without being coddled by a few people who exercise their power too freely in the name of whatever goodness it is they feel their moral and philosophical positions represents.

edit: last year i may have unnuked this post and laughed in the face of the admin who nuked it when he tried to justify his petty partiality. now i feel as though such impulsiveness is childish and rude in civilized society. however, i am torn, because last year the error that is nuking this comment would have been fixed, and now that i think of myself as maturer this comment will remain nuked.

There's a difference between "objecionable" and "really fucking stupid".

Whenever I find myself in a spot where I'm partial or prejudiced in a situation, I look at several criterion: the informative value of the post, the user's posting/thread making history (in brief), the potential humourous value and the amount of healthy discussion it creates (actual debating and dialogue, not certain users going on 100-post pissing contests about semantics), to reflect upon the thread in detail.

This thread had the consistency of a CooloutAC "stream of consciousness" rant, so I nuked. Would do so again, just like I do with Daddy's "im edgy and cool cos i swear and am cheater hihihihih" posts and CooloutAC's "stream of consciousness" rants. (to be pedantic it's unapproval rather than straight-up deletion but has the same effect)

Also check this out. A slightly relevant topic that touches on my opinion on probation/bans, analysing users+user levels, the stance of admins in regards to nukes/deletions and even reversal of other admins' decisions.

"really fucking stupid" isn't a valid justification for nuking content. if you're going to be consistent with that motivation, much of esreality would be unreadable, including many of your own posts.

is this guy spamming? threatening users? being excessively vulgar? posting links to vulgar content? even if he posted nazi propaganda or something ridiculous, i would expect the community to be able to handle itself until the point that his behavior became obsessive, similar to raythenoob's. did he abuse his privilege to post by circumventing the system or flooding the site with posts, or by repeatedly hijacking threads and turning them into off-topic abuse sessions?

i don't know the answers to these questions, but having a personality and an interest in a particular subject, and starting conversations about that subject are not enough to merit a person's account being restricted. if the answers to the above questions are 'no', then why is this post nuked, and why is this guy on probation?

His account got restricted by Yeltsin as a result of a completely different run-in on the "Hitler" topic, and has very little to do directly with this topic, as I never started dialogue with anyone about either the author or the topic in any way or form (not on IRC, not via im, not on any private admin), I merely nuked the OP ( comment #86 contains a typo: I done fucked up by writing "probation" as I meant to write "put him on ignore" as "user admins" can't change user status, they need to ask for permission and shit). The nuking of this thread very likely had a ripple effect but no direct involvement from my side.

Please read the context of the replies in this thread as well as the user's thread history that you may find here. I tend to believe that a defining characteristic of a quasi-humorous text is to contain at least trace amount of humour.

The reference to the three broheims above (Jamerio, hitsu and monkey_business) was an implification that the humour you're trying to point to in the original post may not actually be there, hence I gave the examples of other people who can be found to generate humour in the interaction with and discussion of their opinions rather than stemming from the opinion itself (well apart from Jamerio, who can actually make a decent joke once in a while).

The original post did not contain vulgarity, obscenity, flooding, obsessive anonymous posts or fake accounts ( and posts which DO contain vulgarity, obscenity or flooding should be judged on their merits besides the presence of what you consider should not be automatically nuked: you need to apply context rather than blindly nuke posts which overuse the term "shit cunt" excessively) - but it did however undermine the integrity of this site beyond the point of requirement for discussion.

I mentioned the word context somewhere above, so try to apply context to this thread: the content in the original nuked post, the general consensus among replies in this thread, the author's post history, and the fact that after a month after the nuking, none of the regular denizens of ESR voiced any disdain or rallied discontent at loss of brilliant material. I recall a lot of protest and debate and rage coming from a whole range of users when for example madbringer or jamalz were put on probation, yet ScarlettFarzhaar being put on probation barely raised any commentary, apart from you. It doesn't stem from my personal views. Yes, on a personal level I dislike the author, but not to the extent of censoring him based on that premise alone or letting my emotions cloud my judgement, it was done to nuke a genuinely hamrful thread from my point of view. This is the first time I ever nuked anything by ScarlettJohansonsFather, and additionally I have nuked posts of people I like and/or genuinely consider friends as well.
