Yes, of course it was scripted. But the environment to develop the script in, was the ordinary Notepad. By the way, since that we obtained a couple of defrag bots. Moreover, we began to develop our own one, which we like the most now, and use only it. So stay tuned! We're going to make more demos.

I'm pretty sure there's at least one freestyle vid featuring Buddha that admits tricks are timescaled and/or scripted.

Most FS players do admit using timescale, a few do admit using scripts and when it come to freestyle, it's kind of rare that players would lie about it.
So no, I'd not think "most of these are scripted" ;]

It's just that ppl who know shit about defrag will shit bricks about the difficulty of tricks and how they can't do it and how it looks good. Noone of them will dig in depth or watch demos...

If you look at the README file, available in the archive, you may read: "All the runs and tricks were performed freehand, the movie folder includes the demos.", so "there is completely no info whatsoever" is wrong and "this shit is scripted all over" is wrong too.

It's just that you rely on a YT video and your own assumptions to decide what is reality, but reality is not always what we want it to be.

Look like an oldschool defrag movie. Nice to see some tricks on deathmatch maps. The trick at 1:55 by MMM guy was realy awsome. The creating of the name tags must be a hard work :) Absolutely nasty. I'm pretty sure I would skip all the tricks that made on dm17 (or its remixed map). Its like: If you saw one, you saw all (for a layman like me ofc). I'm sure I saw one of them in an earlier freestyle move (maybe freeform-hq, maybe its the same trick from the same guy?). Great minimal trick movie overall...

This is a great compilation and the choice for simplicity is a good one, overall a neat video

nice vid, great content. would have been nice if there was a mention which were timescaled / scripted (+haste).... as a lot of the vid was timescaled - it's great content, but its not pure. Nihilanth's stuff = all pure, and there is a huge difference.

Yes seems like a lot of it was timescaled, but still really enjoyable movie. I absolutely loved that it was 100% 1st person and every defrag moviemaker should realize that 3rd person is boring as hell.

Should've just named the movie "Nihilanth and Buddha Tricks and Shit". I couldn't even tell there were other defraggers in the movie!

It was good. Actually, really good. I enjoyed watching all the tricks and the music fit relatively well. Cgaz ruined it since his clips were obviously scripted stuff from youtube, and took away from the awe of the other defraggers' clips.

Overall 8/10

i don't understand people's beef with scripted tricks? i mean, it's not like someone's pressed a magic button that creates the trick for them. i think it takes some serious creativity, accuracy and effort to be able to write such an amazingly perfect scripted event

As JS3 said, a scripted run could be much harder to create than actually doing a trick by yourself freehand. Takes a lot of time and hard work to create these tricks and they are really unique ;p You shouldn't hate on them, you should be admiring them!
