I think it's actually a great time to run this and get good number of us Euros watching.

Even with obligatory delays (it's Quake), this will finish before Faceit, nice.

Will it have commentary, or will the stream run silent? Does Australia have any competent TDM commentators?

As far as casting go we are deciding now if we want to have casters or just have players voice communications (which I know can get confusing/boring). I will be spectacting the first two games so I might jump on the stream with Mzry (aka Storm, use to play in Dignitas in Q3 I believe). Since he didn't feel like his game was upto scratch and won't be playing. We'll see how it goes when I play in the third match, whether or not somebody else would like to go on and banter with Mzry or what.

Would people prefer to just hear voice comms?

DC with 2gd, ddk and blunt i believe, and then dignitas was q4.

If you want to make Australian TDM community bigger, good cast can help tremendously.

Maybe I'm biased because myself I have started TDM after watching an ESL TV episode with 2GD where he explained stuff. But it's a fact that comms will mostly be timing and very little strategy talk, it's fun to listen for someone who plays, but it's boring for outsiders.

Too bad no disrepute and Vor. Those are THE best TDM casters around.

Don't know about you but Storm sounded very much like Vor.

Is the streamer stupid?

Twice in the game it didn't switch to quad because he was checking +acc and he didn't care to bind "spec pu" or even try switching manually to find quad, just continued watching someone running with MG.

And then the last quad was about to decide whether blue team makes the comeback or not. So the streamer spent like 15 seconds staring at +scores, while someone took quad, got into big fight and died. I don't even know who that was, who killed him, who got weapons out of it.

I don't know what's your problem with follow killer either. It works ok in TDM, unlike CTF it won't get stuck on a defender for half a game, but rather switch between players with weapons. Sure, sometimes you get someone holding position unchallenged for a while, but we've seen the same with manual switching, not a big deal.

Haha, now he plays relaxing music _instead_ of game sounds :) I guess that's for me to relax? :)

Fridgey is celebrating a quad run he's had... while we were spectating Fraze running with MG because streamer again was checking his accuracy every 5 seconds.

it was the first time he's ever seen quake. Sorry i was trying to watch the chat when i was casting to weed out these things. I'll let him know the feedback if he casts anymore..
