This weekend FACEIT will be bringing you a lot of Quake Live action, as on Sunday we will be hosting the FACEIT: Legends Cup, featuring players like tox and Cooller. We are happy to now add a North American cup to the weekend, on Saturday, because the Sunday Cup is canceled.

At 19:00 BST the FACEIT North America Cup will kick off and is open to all players from North America. Sign-ups are currently open, and check-ins opening at 18:00 BST.

Casting will be provided by

Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and

Xavier "Zoot" Dhorne, live on FACEIT TV. The stream will go live at 19:30 BST.

I must say that I totally appreciate this. NA *needs* someone to do this. I just wish the population was there but this will help. I'm gonna practice and sign up. Looking forward to getting eliminated in the first round!

EDIT: Fuck, I work this Saturday but only until 11am. Could I check in at work, then show up a bit late for my first match?

EDIT2: Sorry for the edits but will this NA cup be something recurring?

Yes, Legends cup is on Sunday.

They probably meant to do the regular cup one day before legends (sat.) but it would be pointless to clash with zowie, so they decided to host a NA cup.

Yeah, I'm having problems with the website too. I got a blank signup page at first. I tried to log in at that point, which I couldn't do at first--I entered my username and password, hit enter, and nothing happened. Then I opened up a new tab of faceit, and was logged in on that tab. Then, I visited the signup page for the second time, and was able to sign up.

Now that I'm actually signed up, if I try to go back to the tournament page, nothing happens. I click on the button and get nothing. I opened the signup page in a new tab, and got a blank page with header and footer that you described. I try again a few minutes later, and it randomly works again. I hope this isn't a usual occurrence for faceit.

It's not uncommon, the page has some errors and they're still trying to make it work for everyone.

Try visiting the index/home page first and make sure you're signed in first, then try navigating through the website.

Why should it concern him that z4 didn't practice the map. It's in the map pool so he is allowed to pick it, nothing low class about it, Z4 joined the tourney knowing it was there.

lol, this is a tournament with prize money, not some fun cup.
It would be stupid not to pick a map that the enemy doesn't know. Not rapha's fault that z4 didnt practice it.

I don't think zero4 would of chose thap map tables turned, and probably why he chose not to play the game. These have know each other well for years just good sportsmanship and a respect thing really, if he knew zero4 had not touched the map then take the honourable road and play him somewhere fair for a gg
