inb4 LoL streams having 100x more viewers than SM.
Literally the max concurrent viewers I have ever seen in a sm stream is 51.
Dota2 had the record with 567,000....until the LoL season2 finals, which had 1,154,000 on official streams (lots of them combined) and 2,400,000 watching it on tv.
Yes way, it was 49-something thousand at the peak, and it eventually settled down at 7k or 8k. I remember it like yesterday.
Actually shows a bit of what would be possible if QuakeLive was properly advertised and hyped.
nowadays probably 4-8k with combined streams depending on the event and time of day, back in the day we easily broke into (higher) five figures with gtv alone :S
Even QLranksTV gets more than 50 viewers on a daily basis, major lan events rack up to 4k and your weekly sunday cups have ~1200viewers ru+official combined, so what's your point?
Wild Card first semi finals between fnatic and dnj being delayed due to strenx pc mic fail or smthg like that, ive been specting the game for the first time.
are you fucking kidding me? next time mendez says "wo-oouh" like some teen porn actress pretending to see a cock for the first time im going to set fire to a field of fucking potats.
just from watching i can tell shots are painfully random, plus it's 1/100 of quake's complexity.
and no clue why someone would point the camera to the 400pound guy instead of the 2 regular dudes (gillz and nonamer). Same with rapha as well ("the quake champion" is at the back).
Lightning is awful as well. Are they paying someone to produce the event?
I hope they remove the infestor unit in SC2. Disables like fungal growth belong in MOBAs not old style RTS. The finals are the most boring games of the tournament.
