Happened the same to Guardiola vs Chelsea, so I don't think Villanova is to blame here.
What I noticed tho is that when a team goes full DEF the goalkeeper of the defending team also makes some incredible saves. The whole team defensive skill goes over 9000 lol.
But yeah definitely great tactical play by celtic.. Short passes won't win you games vs such great defending - Barca's greatest weakness cuz they can't score from crosses and can't penetrate trough middle no matter how good technique they have.
I was at both home and away games, i can upload pics or videos if u guys want.
We know we ain't as good as barca thats clear to see but what we do have is the will to fight, never give up and the heart to believe we could win.
You guys have no idea how loud it was in Celtic Park it was amazing!!.
I wish we could go far but i can't see it, but thanks for the comments :D. If we get to the playoffs i'm going no matter where it is or who we play.
Quotes - About Celtic.
"I have played many games for Spain/Barca but I've never heard fans like Celtic, they were amazing, not quiet for a single second!"
Andres Iniesta (Barcelona Player, Oct 2012) after Barcelona 2-1 Celtic
"Celtic fans, you are great, you are marvellous"
Sepp Blatter (FIFA President, 2003)
"Football will survive because of teams like Celtic and its fans."
Age Hareide (Helsingborg manager, 2012)
"The atmosphere generated by the fans in Celtic’s stadium for our visit was the most impressive I’ve ever witnessed. The grounds of Liverpool and Manchester United are good and the hostile feeling of playing against Real Madrid in the Bernabeu is also excellent, but the atmosphere against Celtic was the best."
Xavi (Barcelona) (Sep 2004)
"Every professional footballer should seek to play at least one game at Celtic Park. I have never felt anything like it"
Paolo Maldini (AC Milan & Italy legend)
"I fell a bit in love with Celtic, because the atmosphere was amazing and the crowd was magnificent, the way they behaved with the Porto fans."
Jose Mourinho (June 2003)
How bad they are? 9 wins 1 draw in the league with an 8 point lead over Real, so bad. No recognised CB's in the majority of their games, but still winning because they're scoring more goals this season than last. Yeah, you were saying? Maybe you'll expand on why his coaching is "bad", but as you know nothing about football it will probably be a struggle.
yes, they score lots of goals in SPL... but they [and by they i mean freaking messi] do it in last 5-10 minutes of game... thats not enough to play good in CL, and i think soon they will start to lose or draw matches in SPL...
compare it to Guardiola's barcelona, with same gamestyle, same players... yet much more effective...
Vor, you do realise that you're trying to debate with a stereotypical idiot pole that argued to the death with several native speakers that "outcluded" is a legit term in the English language?
Just put him on ignore, making sure that the only time you come across him is when you click on "Show Ignored User Comment Tree" to find out why you only see 1 reply out of 9 :>
They play quite good, it's just that opposite teams go all def. When guardiola started coaching, people tried to attack barca, that's why their style looked more attractive.
Now teams figured ot that they can win with full def and counter-attacking. If teams opened up vs. this barcelona, i think that results would be even more crushing than in early-mid guardiola era. I played football for 8 years so try not to tell me how i don't know shit. This is just my opinion.
Nowadays only RMD dares to go full attack vs barca. That's how i see it atleast and i watch every game.
and that makes you an expert on Barcelonas play.
please do continue calling everyone else a retard. you are obviously more than familiar with the term. probably runs in the family.
Never really understood the cause for the riots, until i talked to my soccer-loving politician friend, apparently it's because back in the days(obviously today to), people let out their rage for society on the soccer games, in England that is.
wow... ur trying to say how everyone ist just stupid and not worthy of your womenly feelings and attention because they like sports.
good luck with that and enjoy your solituted, you won't be missed.
edit: people always riot about something. either its their life, their job or their neighbour. unfortunately there's always a small group that lacks a bit of self-esteem and cause trouble.

Srsly though, I admire peoples compassion for sport, since I don't feel the same for any team.
My friends who loves sports, took me to a soccer and a hockey game since i told them i've never been on a game.
The soccer game, between Djurgårdens IF(home and alot more supporters), and Assyriska(away 1/5 supporter count) started of pretty good, i saw people in my age and above screaming how much they hated the other team, like they wanted to kill them, even my friends joined in the chant.
The game ended 4-3 to Djurgården and they made it to some higher league. Although they won, the supporters rushed the pitch and kicked the shit out the opposing team.
The Hockey game went a bit smoother, it was between Djurgårdens If(home) and Modo(away), now in Modo theres a player named Peter Forsberg who is some hero and what all to the national team, and the entire match all the Djurgården supporters chanted: Peter Forsberg is a whore, when they in the olympics and world cup would cry of happiness and raise him to the skies, when he often were the key player.
bonus: i sat behind a small dude in pink v-necked sweater, and designer glasses, and he screamed different women genitalia words the whole game, he felt like the mellow type who turned bad at the game.
I was just kidding. I do not condone the actions of drunk violent kids traveling around Europe just to get a black eye and a police record. In fact, I don't watch football at all anymore.
btw. I'm rooting for Dinamo to become the worst team in Champions League ever. That's only two losses away! :D
