Nice cfg. I've alwas wondered why Quake insists keeping map textures. IMO brightmap makes the graphics look timeless and this video shows how to do it so that it doesn't turn out gay (hello Warsow).

Some great stuff. Loved the textures simpicity, the overall visibility was damn good. Can't say I didn't like anything about the movie. 9/10.

cool config. at least you can see the opponents. i dont see the point of high qualitiy configs in movies anyway. and some guys just never get it, that music is a matter of taste and im not gona judge the movie because of a different taste! 10/10

When a band has literally a dozen more interesting songs, I really don't want to hear that one song in a Quake movie, that every other TV series has already used.
To me, the movie's uniqueness gained by the nice cfg was lost because of this.

ok CSI:Miami has "the who - won't get fooled again" as a title. And tbh. I don't give a fuck, its still a great song.
I'm not comparing "the naked and famouse" to "the who". But just because the song is "known", it doesn't make it bad. If you are just trying to say, that you don't like it, than read my comment above.
the movie is good. and music is a matter of taste.

As I tried to say, there's two points to it:

One, I don't *particularly* like the song, because I think the band has many more interesting songs, who would also have been more suited for a Quake movie.

Two, I love it when Quake movies have a unique and surprising vibe to them. The cfg accomplished this. However, choosing a song which is so appealing to the mainstream that it's been used by >20 TV shows in the last year, ruins this uniquenss.

i don't watch TV or listen to radio, maybe thats why it was special to me :)

I gave it an 8. Really nice movie, This kind of config works so well in frag movies, I wish others would do this instead of having all the textures. QL looks so nice with this lighting and smooth walls. Perhaps a slightly modified rocket explosion would have worked well in this. The music, well I actually didn't mind the track I thought it was quite nice, but for me it's a bit too happy and shit. Needed something a bit darker and faster paced. Nobody can ever really get music right though since everyone has their own tastes. Good job though.

Wow, long time since i actually enjoyed watching a movie this much.

The movie has a really nice flow and is easy going, the song fits perfectly and sets a really nice mood. I loved the grenade frag on aero!

What's wrong with the gfx? Not every frag movie needs to look over-produced, just like not every real movie needs to look like a Michael Bay movie with tons of explosions and eye-candy everywhere. If a movie has style (like this one does) it doesn't need the gfx.

I enjoyed it more than any movie you've made recently. You're like Michael Bay. Malak is like Spike Lee.

I think this is my favorite frag movie of 2012 so far, next to "Their Base Is Safe". The music might have been a little distasteful for a frag movie, but you made it work. I hope you make another one in the same style :)

the plain bright textures and/or the yellow enemymodel wasnt a good idea, neither the music but aside that good frags and editing.

the yellow skins didnt work to well with battlesuit, besides that, really nice!
