On paper, Manchester United should easily beat Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, at least until you examine United's home record. From their last 17* league games at Old Trafford, they have won 8, drawn 2 and lost 7, scoring 20 goals and conceding 15. I'm not even going to mention how many of those goals were penalties because it hurts too much. United will be missing Paul Scholes, Roy Keane and Gary Neville through injury. Chances are that Diego Forlan might figure in the game at some point. I might start crying in a moment.
Hoddle's Tottenham side was recently boosted by the signing of ex-Inter Milan striker, Robbie Keane and the form of Teddy Sheringham and Simon Davies.
* minus Derby/Southampton results
