This. Maybe tweak the spawns a little, but aside that its kinda amusing that there was many maps in attempt to replace dm6, still not a decent one appeared in a year.

single elimination or double elimination?

DE would be much better, since the brackets appear to be rather random (pavel first seed, spartie and tox meeting in the 2nd round, cypher and avek meeting in quarterfinals, etc.)

and as I said, I had several people ask me to specifically stream the strenx vs ash game. it was the more interesting match of the two. and there are those who don't want to / can't watch a russian stream, and besides that it's better to have vods of the most interesting matches for those who couldn't watch the stream tonight.

Sounds like the usual condition for most people playing vs strenx in these online cups :)
I'd rather watch a 200 vs 200 ping final than another 70 vs 30 ping final - even if cypher is just simply amazing and beats strenx every now and then online.

^_^ cmon. The very fact that everybody is compelled to "routinely" say "gl hf" or "gg" is enough of an annoyance as it is. It's supposed to be a natural gesture, not a professional "rule". If I win or lose, i will say GG if I thought the game was good, whether opponent won/lost, or says it first or not.
