I agree that the mappool needs changing. It's awful.

But remove toxicity and add something half decent and that pool is fine. Wouldn't mind seeing phrantic in the pool just to test it out.

I agree, phrantic is a fucking blast even in QL.

Are you kidding me? dm13 must be the first map to go. It's way too slow, repetitive, and there's absolutely no original moves that you can make on that map because everything has been done to death.

Remove dm13!

dm13 is best duel map in QL, as its totally not based on aim... ofc nice aim helps, but dont give u any advantage that would actually matter

IMO dm13 needs to stay. It's the only slow(er) paced map in the pool...that map can really feel like a game of chess when you're playing against a smart player.
Hopefully Rapha will do another game analysis but on dm13, his thinking on that map shows why it needs to stay.

QW was fast paced chess :P Quakelive movement/physics doesn't allow for fast paced chess :DD
Only person I've seen who can play a fast, yet calculated, paced game in QL is av3k.

There is no one better at +backing over there at the YA area on aerowalk that cypher. I felt frustrated just WATCHING pavel chase him down for over a minute, totally stacked, just trying to get in there and get ONE frag. And he couldn't do it. He keeps out of sight so well it's insane.
