The 4 qualification cups for the next
EMS VIII Quakelive TDM 2v2 have been announced and will start with the first cup on Sunday, 20th February at 20:00 BST. This new season will offer 1 000€ in prize money and will be played until June 2011.
As the format of the competition was changed from TDM 4v4 to TDM 2v2, the top4 teams from the previous season won't be invited. So the top4 teams from each of these qualification cups will earn a slot for the Group Stage.
Qualification Cup #1: Sunday, 20th February 20:00 BST (Sign up)
Qualification Cup #2: Tuesday, 22nd February 20:30 BST (Sign up)
Qualification Cup #3: Wednesday, 23rd February 20:30 BST (Sign up)
Qualification Cup #4: Sunday, 27th February 20:00 BST (Sign up)
Cup format: Single Elimination, Best of 1 (map elimination)
Mappool: Almost Lost (t6), Blood Run (ztn), Campgrounds (dm6), Devilish, Hidden Fortress (dm20)
Max teams: 16 (can be extended)
Team restrictions: 2 members max. - All teams must have at least one pro account for Quake Live
