I also don't think it's useful to compare games if you like one less than the other or aren't as acquainted in terms of playing/spectating with one. Likewise in the world of cinema there are people who are deeply engrossed in the horror genre while there are others who might be just as educated about film but wouldn't give any horror movie ever made a high rating.

as good as TC2 was, i'm kind of inclined to agree with thorin's 8.5 on his review, but for different reasons. killer movie, but the music just didn't do it for me although i actually really liked the way he showed the quad rails by TheDynamite before playing them in normal speed.

if he took out the overly long intro and some of the less impressive frags it would've easily been a 10 although TC2 got such a positive reception that I can't blame him for continuing that style should he choose to make a third one.

These frags aren't at all as underwhelming as people make them out to be. In fact all of them are comparable to what is shown in VQ3 / QL movies in their entirety, yet I see these movies being praised. If TC2's frags are overrated then I definitely must be missing something in the frag department.

I never was trying to change your opinion on the movie at all to begin with. I made one post to reply stating my thoughts on the situation.

I was pleased with what you rated it, though some what confused considering what you gave other aforementioned movies compared to it. Your ratings seem to contradict themselves in many aspects. Regardless the articles are good since they bring attention to the scene.

All the frags in tc2 are amazing, some are so amazing that the normal 'great frags' in it are overshadowed.

If you take all the 'great frags' and separate them into 1 movie people would call it as good as get quaked 3, but since this is CPM the level of flicks and combinations are much better looking than vq3 frags.
