Mouse feet on the 3.0 suck. Get the new Deathadder. No prediction (like the 3.0), better side buttons, better wheel button, better cord, better mouse feet and high dpi is good for high res desktop.

3.0 shape and weight > all that

I actually prefer DA shape cos its taller.

stock mouse feet on the DA suck, too. Just sayin'.
I use Hyperglidez for both, but the D.A. cramps my hands, whereas the 3.0 fits like a glove.

As I know, where is 2 version of IE3: Old one, from ~2002 (light grey) and other in ~2007 (dark grey). <--- on that mouse box, you see BLACK ie3, but it's just foto no? I never saw TOTALY BLACK ie3 (not talking about s&s and so on..).

where is s&s , alien ware and others limited edition ie3 mouses, but they don't count.

you can drill it and remove a lot of plastic from one side. PROBLEM: need adapt to weight different in front and back, it's depends how you hold IE3.

To make mouse4 (side button) more responsable, put 3-4 layers of tape on the SHORTER button end "pussher", side button will press, then you will touch it ,shorter "way", don't add to much layers, coz it will feel like "stone", to hard or will be pushed allways, then you will assamble mouse.
I guess after these mods, It loses around 15g, not much, BUT IT FEELS! Weight comes more close to WMO.
