such negative pictures, yuck! luckily for you, chat is a passing thing. and even if it isn't, or if it's etched into you, like those reflections of light in the city, you know, they make new art possible. beginnings are blinded by novelty. but why some who see are in awe while others disgusted is an accidental matter.

reminded me of a post i made back in dec 2009, only focusing on quake-servers, and concluding UPUPUP:

Quake servers are a strange "culture", in a way. But the same kind of parimeters always rule behavior; the circumstance is so overarching, one has to kind of submit.

Shit man. I notice. When I join Quake-Live servers. And there's always a few people I know in there. It feels like there's some continuity there, where people are just chippin' in and out.

You come back and it's still.. The same kind of plurality of character. The same spirit. You know, people cursing and talking in the same way. Stuff you'd never see in real life. Just manifests itself in different people in the game.
