Start at Sunday 22:00. Kinda late, because the tournament will start not sooner as 23:00 with all the delays and subs etc.

Well, it's hard to host one tournament for EU and NA together. We're hoping that some of the most western EU players will sign up along with a lot of NA players.

Eventually when we get more participation we hope to make two separate cups for NA and EU.

so re: servers it's just up to the players to sort out where they play?

i would assume that the tie map will be on a north american server (nyc or chicago) unless the two teams agree to something else.

We have two servers hosted by island55 and digitalfrag.net made for these tournaments and any upcoming tournaments in the future.

As it stands, all tournaments thus far are meant to be featured in North America. If we get more participation from EU, then we will start making separate tournaments per region. But players will be playing in one of two servers, either Chicago or New York.

Yeah, but as long as there is a North American team playing, you will be playing in North America. Obviously we have servers like New York to provide some relief with ping.

If you didn't already know, the EU/RU scene is much larger than the NA scene, but playing on 100 or even 200 ping for some Russians is tiresome and doesn't seem worth the effort a lot of the time.

I'm sure a EU/RU tournament would be very warmly welcomed!

I really don't want to go through all that map agreement/server switching again. Let's just hope we get more NA teams than EU teams this time.

Would've liked to have seen this bumped during play, since I was one of only about 50 ppl at the time I was in the tasty spleen stream. :(

anyway i think next weekend its going to be a tdm promo of some kind (possibly usa vs canada) followed by a duel tourney the following weekend. will post details when they are decided by mia.
