agree, and it was working perfectly with mouse and kb... the good old dreamcast was an awesome consol, its sad Sega was not experienced enough to make it a success.

It wasn't Sega's ability to handle it, as they did very well. The problem was that they lost consumer confidence with the Saturn blunder.

I never said they didn't do very well, all I stated that they were unable to make it a success. Anyway I got a special place in my hearth for SEGA, can't really explain, and its not because I was working for them on some titles, I just like them...dunno why, even if most of my favorite consol games were on Nintendo or Playstations:)

ive not been a massive fan of any of the other sega consoles really apart from the dreamcast, which just has one of the best games lineups especially arcade conversions (obviously due to being pretty much the same hardware as the sega naomi arcade hardware at the time) of all time.

yea ,almost the same hardware, but NAOMI had much more memory, (which perhaps could be bypassed with some clever technical / graphical tricks), but NAOMI was also capable to run together with other NAOMI boards, which made it so "powerful" in 1998.

What about Genesis? Regardless of how it fared against Super Nintendo, I'd say that was a pretty awesome console.

I loved Amiga too, all the coding and demo stuffz, the awesome musics and graphics, the bbs surfings, but tbh, console games were far more entertaining and polished in my opinion.

syndicate, sensible world of soccer, dune 2, powermonger, civilization, formula one grand prix, settlers, the secret of monkey island, beneath a steel sky..... yeah ok

this is just for the start, but honestly its no way I could write down how many awesome titles I played, and I mean hundreds of good games (Shinobi, Chrono Tiger, f-zero, r-type, gunstar heroes, and all the awesome arcade conversions, and all the kick ass rpg games!, etc etc etc..) I loved about 20-25 very very good Amiga games, but not more.. You just can't compare the numbers.

But let me tell you it's absolutely not like when you ask yourself (for example) what the hell ppl like in this Star-Wars movie, it looks like a complete trollfest... and when you go and watch it, it turns out that indeed its a complete stupid trollfest.

These games were created by the best and finest coders, artists and game designers in the world(!), and most of the times, many were working together on a single title for years. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, you don't know much about gaming "in my opinion".

The LAN adapter for it was worth every single penny. Unfortunately, it's skyrocketed to $140 now, but I remember it being a lot cheaper back when DC came out.

the idea of t9 is borrowed from phrantic, (almost fucking 3 ya, that little room with ra seems like the room with that _ra_ next to granade and rocket, for me the idea is the same, trapping someone in the best place of the map but at the same time giving two really good choices and you have to almost stress yourself up to find channels to get rid off it) and no rail, shaft map, 1 mh in the mid of the map.. crazy teleports.. i dont know.. even plasma you know.. i feel like the same..
