half of the stuff in that video isn't even true. the majority of the letter is, and those photos are real, but what of it? I sent that letter to the person whom I considered my best friend at the time, brandan (aka seven), whom I'd known and talked to for 10 years and met in person, staying over at his place for about a week on two separate occasions. I sent it to one other person, and that was a really dumb idea.

and then this guy stopped talking to me for about 6 months, out of nowhere. we had talked every day for usually quite a long time. we were the best of friends, or so I thought. all the while he somehow thought I was desperately trying to win his friendship back or something of that nature, because I tried a couple of times to ask him what the hell had happened. this guy thinks very highly of himself and has some kind of problem, but insists that I am deluded, and refuses to tell me how or in what capacity. he takes it upon himself to suddenly march his way back into my life after those six months, and insinuates himself into my business as if somehow I would inevitably take him as a friend. his explanation for what he'd done was simply that it was an intellectual experiment to determine if he could suspend a friendship. seriously. this is the kind of person you are dealing with.

at any rate, I was always one to give people a chance, probably stupidly, but I never get one and maybe I'm naive as hell but I try to see the good side in people and things. so even though I was wary of this guy and didn't really like him, we hung out on IRC and chatted a fair bit again after some time. actually, I guess we didn't so much at first. when something went wrong with my girlfriend, I called him up and asked him to talk about it, because I considered him someone who gave a shit about my problems, but clearly I was wrong. I have not been talking to this idiot for several months now, and it has nothing to do with any of this, btw. the reason we stopped talking again is because this guy wanted to start a channel on quakenet for 'intellectual discussions,' and I was the first one to join it, naturally. and then he takes it upon himself to kick me out of it at some point later, because he got mad at me that I was trying to correct him about some networking problem he clearly didn't understand, and I wouldn't relent to assuage his ego, or something. I didn't even insult the guy, or anything of that nature. this dude has a serious ego and serious emotional problems. it's irrelevant whether I do or not, or what kind of person I am or have been.
