Well, you were right on one count. The US did not beat Germany, but did play a better game I would say. However, Brazil did get past England.

i hate to say it, but the US has actually been doing kind of badly, just getting the goals. It seems the possession time and scoring oppurtunities have favored the opponent =(

I really like these kind of bets that is hard to determine, and the odds dont go down to 1.1 for one option right away.

My money is on Brazil, even after todays performance against Belgium.

Brazil needed the referee to win. Belgium played them back home (for sure if you watch at their technical knowledge and ours). When is football going to become a pro sport ? The referees at this WK absolutely are no good, like for example Croatie - Italy. Or the last match of Italy. Or the match with 18 yellow cards. But some referees are doing it really well, like Frisk.

Yeah, I couldn't agree more.

To be honest I think the only really good referees are the one's that are used to judging games at a very high professional level (top european/south american league).

I agree with ravedome, the refs in this tournament, and football in general suck (except for collina i love that skeleton head). I don't understand why they don't use video images to ref games.
For example when Wilmots talked about his disallowed goal with the referee before second half, he admitted there was nothing wrong with the goal, after watching the replay during half-time.

You can't say this, Brazil dominated hole game and lost many goals. Many referees are bad I know, but they aren't influencing in nothing. The best team have to win no matter what the referee do. I'm sure England and Brazil will be a great match and I think Brazil will win because the team is very united and the attack is impossible to stop. Ronaldo wants his revenge after his problem in France world cup finals and after his problem in the knees(2 years stopped). He is playing with heart and very good technique. go go go Ronaldo, Rivaldo!

no ones denying brazils ability although the best two teams left (yes i know about italy) in the tourny are England and Brazil. IMO even though they went out, Argentina and France were the best sides by a long shot (althought the french team is getting older) and i dont think either will be back as favourites this time in four years. The English team is very young and providing we continue to bring new and young players into the squod then we should remain a dominant force in football over the next 8+ yrs.

And Germany, dont kid yourselves...you may have been good once (nobody gives a poo poo about a team winning the cup in 1934 1975 or 1962 or whatever, its here and now what counts! Hope you remember 5-1 in (munich was it?)

Unfortunately the Germans are always allowed to play with an extra player, the bastards play nearly every match with an invisible 12th man who goes by the name of Herr Luck! Germany have always been the luckiest gits in world football and it would not suprise me in the least to see them go all the way at least to the final.

Senegal will beat Turkey - Turkey were poor against Japan and Hakan Sukur has been crap all tournament. Senegal have been a class act, although they nearly blew it 2nd half v Uruguay.

Turkey were pool against Japan???? We had always got the control of the game. But you r true about Hakan Sukur crap. He really sucked. His best game was Japan. With good tactics and squad we can easily beat Senegal..

whoever wins outa brazil and england will win the world cup imo, the only team that could challange them are spain, but after seeing them against ireland, they dont look like they have what it takes. both turkey and senegal will be easy opposition (for the semi's) to get to the final

Well i set the probability that Brazil would go through to the finals to a much higher probability after they won England before i reopened the betting again. Just incase you did not realise i locked betting immediately before the England-Brazil match. After Brazil won i made the probability that they would go through much higher (closer to 1) so that the returns would be less.
