VX2268wm has slightly better color accuracy and response time.
2233RZ has better ergonomics (though both are VESA-compliant), and has a much more convenient OSD.
Response time tests have lots of conflicting results.
The xbitlabs reviewer considered them equal overall if at the same pricepoint. I personally own a 2233RZ and am very satisfied with it.

Err, by 'Response time tests have lots of conflicting results.', I meant 'Input lag tests have lots of conflicting results.'
Maybe I should get an account so I could edit instead.

I thought about buying both to dual screen but I've decided to wait on the next gen 120hz lcd's.
Currently own the vx2268 and have finally managed to get 800x600 working @ 120hz - though I didn't do anything other than update drivers.
The problems I've found thus far have been:
NVIDIA: Scaling options work but only with fullscreen, 'maintain aspect ratio' bugged - win7
ATI: Scaling option completely bugged and doesn't work at all (thus resulting in having a tiny little window in the middle of my monitor)
ATI scaling now seems to be working, though it's not consistent but usually a reboot will allow me to scale if I need to.
