they should go back to basics and look up what professional means in the dictionary. play your f**kin matches when your scheduled and stop fanny-fucking about because "you arent in the mood"

yes, because other professionals in other sports dont show up all the time. yes he received a major penalty, but he shouldnt have put himself in that situation.

thing is, it happens all the time in quake. players fanny-fuck about the place thinking they dont have to play when the competition tells them to. other way round im afraid lads :) i still remember noctis at ESWC 08 and he bitched and moaned about the monitors and then barely tried when he got there. they need to be more appreciative of where they are and get on with the job. not act like pre-madonnas because they have some e-fame on the quake scene and esr

i think its kind of an automatic process. but you are right, it should be the other way around.

you'll never see premier league teams turning up an hour too late for the game or anything similar.

and in korean esports the players are on schedule too.

tbh this is where managers should come into play and prove their worth. these players do all have managers right?

they should get off their asses and make their players behave appropriately.

ok i'm curious about this. honestly, do you think you would have had an advantage over av3k had he shown up yesterday as you're a part of the focus group and have played around with the new hitboxes and other changes? of course, assuming av3k doesn't have focus access.

i'm interested in knowing how much a rather significant change on the very day of a match would affect top level play. would it have mattered at all?

Most of the practice i got with the new hitboxes was about 2 hours before my game was supposed to happen and thats smth he could have easily done himself as well.

A gameplay change effects every player different, you can't really generalize that. I think that the changes should actually favour av3ks playstyle.

i agree that the changes might favour his playstyle but i assumed you got a lot more playtime with the new hitboxes than just 2 hours before your game as you were talking about it a couple of days back. that's why i asked if it would have made any difference :) thanks.
