Maybe nerfing lg and rg wasn't so great if you like games with lots of frags. Might have been better to buff the other weapons. The 10min time limit is probably contributing too.

rl in qw is easily as good as lg. Just watch reppie, reload, sting, venom demos. You can add Griffin as well and shitload of others. The best European shafter inter was never the best dueler in Europe. This guy has 50% aim bot like lg. So that tells you something.

reppie has poor lg but he beats every great shafter without too much problems.

Well I think other weapons in QL are also useful. I see lots of RG, LG, SG and PG kills. I honestly don't have a problem with rl getting the most kills. But I doubt this will be the case in every game. It will depend on the map of course.

Did you watch stermy avek games? rl didn't seem op to me.

yes, quake for me are strong rl / lg and a sg for one of the other weapons. not like you implied a game where rl rules all and everything else is pretty much useless (not the case with ql imo).
