yeah this is a great concept but choose slightly better games than the last 2. or at least not the losers POV

I've always thought that was a really entertaining demo actually. You get to see how Makaveli keeps reconfiguring his gameplan, despite being down, so that if he can capitalize on one or two errors on ZeRo4's behalf he can potentially break the game open and get the lead.

The fact he doesn't really manage that because ZeRo4 manages to play the map so well in this match doesn't really end up mattering all that much. Makaveli manages to make a lot of interesting but intelligent moves which put him in good positions despite being on the wrong end of control vs. perhaps the best player in the world at the time.

If I remember rightly there's a sequence where ZeRo4 ends up really low on health but manages to back away with really good positioning/rail firing and a lot of people on the demo thread were criticizing Makaveli for not going all out to try and kill him so his response was along the lines of "this is not a scrub we're talking about, you rush players like ZeRo4 or me when we're low like that and you get your stack smashed". That kind of sums up how well Makaveli knew his play style and how to play against it.

This is the Agassi-Sampras of Q3 in terms of one being better but the other being able to stay in the game with him in spite of that.

Eh I dunno. Maka spent a lot of time hiding out at ya/shards and not enough time trying to get positioning imo. While z4 was busy taking ra/mega he should have tried to gain the high ground @ bridge/rl and prevented z4 from just owning the map. The few times he was able to do that he was able to put a beating on z4, but he just didn't do it often/well enough. As a matter of fact once he lost his initial advantage off of the great spawn he was unable to even take mega/ra until the game was (basically) over.

So basically what I'm trying to say is that if you think he played really well because it was close, then more power to you, but imo he just turtled and tried to keep the score as close as possible and wasn't really in any position to win after the 4/5 minute mark.

I don't know. I enjoy listening to Wheat like everyone else - he adds a great atmosphere to a game - but I've often found the content of his commentary to be rather odd.

i loved the style makaveli had when he used sensitivity 18(5-6cm per 360 i think), i think he was better then too.

I must be silly whenever i watch these videos it always happens the same... they last 7:48 seconds and a half of them is missing... WTF?

they are split to 2 parts cause there is a 10 minute limit for videos unless you are some special member.
