There's no real point in having any more levels, the game has no depth at all... it's just randomly making boxes and hoping the physics engine fucks up and sends it flying towards the star...

Gave them ago and beat them pretty easily, boring too :(.

well I just love it. too bad valve won't accept my money and hasn't responded to the e-mail I sent one week ago.

just a tip: when you reached the song limit in the demo, right click on the game in steam's game list, and hit "Verify integrity of game cache" under the "Local Files" tab. There you go for four more songs :).

you can always torrent it, but i think $10 is so cheap and its going to an "indie" developer.

audiosurf is win

the sequence doesn't seem very connected to the music. though I always think that with any kind of visualiser :(

its not a visualiser its a computer game. perhaps its not a great example but trust me the syncing in game is fine

throw something simple on like sabbath's iron man, you'll see it sync ;)

It's an addictive game, but the scoring is messed up big time, not really worth to go head to head score comparing with someone as you might make the exact same moves and get the exact same bonuses and one of you will get more points for whatever reason.

why would you get more points if you did the same thing

I'm trying to figure out who the hell someone is getting 70k using 1945 with mono ninja

can play an almost perfect game in ironmode and only get 50

30% extra points for hitting no greys. if you manage to do that on 1945 you are pretty fkn good

he never got the 30% extra points :(

need some other good songs, fusion is crazy in it but half the tracks are too long :|

Different combos and such, but on a very easy song on mono me and my friend played exactly the same (same moves, same combos) and the score was different.

Another note, if you decode via iTunes, the curves are different, and in the end also the traffic and block placing on some places = different scores.

the id3 tag listing of songs is also bollocks, as for example you can play a studio version and a live version and if not specially named in the tags it will count as the same song and both go under the same results.

you can mark a highscore, so that a moderator checks if the curve/length is okay

I know you can, but this really isn't something that they should remove a score for. iTunes decoding isn't really cheating, it's an option in the game that produces different results, same goes for different version of the same song, perfectly fine, just the game is stupid to list them as one and the same song :).

which is why the game offers a picture of the curve and length details, you can pretty much tell when a song is different and who you're competing with

this game is not meant for esport or anything, its just fun, why so much deliberation about this !!! btw, "not gonna get us" by tatu feels darn good on audiosurf :)
