yeah, i definitely agree, but that's due to a lack of dedicated servers, one of the biggest weaknesses consoles have right now. on the other hand it's very easy to set up lan play compared to having to hook a bunch of computers up, i dunno about you euros but most american families have 2 or 3 tvs in their house, hell, we have 4 tvs, and 2 of them (1 of which is hd) are used for nothing but consoles

The irony of it is, console FPS WILL BE THE "REAL-START" of the future pro-gaming. (assuming we are talking FPS) And not the end.

The only reasons I stopped playing streetfighter is because the arcade industry died. And 3d beat em ups were just clunky and horrible, especialyl tekken series.

and it's well deserved. gears of war is by far the best and most skillful console shooter created so far, a fast paced mix of clan arena and deathmatch and the best part is there's only one hitscan weapon and it's actually balanced quite well O_O

interesting sidenote: people suck with every weapon but the rail in quake 4 on 360, with every other gun their accuracies will be like sub 10% and then you look at the rail and it's like 70-100% every game...makes me wonder

there's no apparent autoaim in q4 for 360. i think it has to do with how you can't dodge well, and you can't strafe jump at all. most kids seem to spend most of the game walking sideways
