i'm sure that's a highly abridged version, but it sounds like that's what happened when he was trying to go to quakecon. as for this event, i imagine he may have tried to apply for the proper visa, most likely too late as DHS is the slowest, worst run organization i've ever dealt with.

I don't see another option other than z4muz or jibo, z4muz fucked up everything last tourny with hangover (He won't be doing that again) and jibo will probably be nice and consistant.

Cooller I think is a "dark horse" (He's still gonna come top 5 definitely). I don't think czm is gonna come top 3 though, he was looking good, but comparing him to z4muz or jibo... just ain't gonna happen.

The americans might spit out something, carnage was looking good and cl0ck of course.

There are still a lot of good players signed up that may or may not come, if some of them arrive it could create some random havoc. I think nearly all the q4 players are signed up, and most of them are ex-q3 players. They might have been practising this last week like cooller, if they decide to show up any one of them could be lethal.

Aside from cooller and czm I could genuinely give a fuck less about any of the rest, none of them have that spark which grabs my attention.

Z4muz has a "z" and a "4" in his name though.

But yeah that guy is wrong Z4muZ does have a spark when he is playing on top of his game. So does fox. Jibo is kind of bland imo.

I wouldn't say z4muz does to be honest, he's so routine+great aim. He generally just runs the same routes over and over hitting his shots :o When I watch cooller or zero4 for example I see them do lots of different things and there is a spark where they can turn around any game in an instant etc!

Z4muz spark, might not be amazing tacts but he hits some amazing not everyday shots :)

I don't really know about his shape. This is more assuming all players are in their best shape. If cooller is in his best shape... the old cooller... he will win. But he's probably rusty so...

cXg? if I recall correctly cooller pretty much destroyed czm there. ESWC 2003 and cXg are probably the tournaments when cooller was at his best to be honest.

cooller 1v1'd more than czm back then also. When czm got into it he was able to beat anyone also.

Luck comes into play when you take maps into account. Cooller lost to ZeRo4 and czm in that tournament both times on hub3aeroq3.... :)

(Hence the "alltimes lucky" also in reference to cpm1a being the decider at QLAN2 if I recall correctly)

Not that I'm saying czm sucks or anything but if you ask me cooller and ZeRo4 in their "zone" are far ahead. czm is more of a played so much that his aim was so good and consistent that he was always going to be hard to beat (same with z4muz really)

I think cooller and czm aim similar though. These 2 you won't see very high percentages all the time, but at the same time their aim really owns and win a lot.

Z4muz and others get high percentages and stuff but tend to lose (like he did to z4) to people who can control maps and stuff.

z4muz can control a map better than almost anybody but he likes 'innovation' and is very predictable. His aim compensates for this against most players but not the cream of the crop.

cooller/ZeRo4 just had an amazing way of controlling the map, staying alive without control, regaining control and just winning games out of nowhere even when they are being out-aimed.

czm is in the middle, his aim isn't quite as good as z4muz but he's more innovative and unpredictable!

I agree with this statement :)

czm is probably the best spawn-raper in q3, which is one of the reasons why he's so damn good at aerowalk. His excellent memory is helpful in this regard.

I would say cooller is probably the best controller though, some memorable 10-15min map-locks on dm6 vs socrates and fazz come to mind. I think another area he excells in is sound recognition, he always seem to know where his opponent is, and is often able to suprise them.

It would have been cool to see toxic at this tourney, I think he would've owned...

czm is the best at spawn rape at hub but not the other maps to be honest.
