There are ways in the game to make this very profitable. As nvck said it is the rarest ore in the universe and this was by far the biggest find of it ever. If I am not mistaken the next closest was just over 1K or 2 in it's TT (trade terminal or basic) value. Basically now Dub has a huge monopoly similar to the De Beers diamond company. He can do whatever he wants to make his money.

sell it to your society (guild for the wow geeks) crafter who makes coats, armors, whatever out of it and sell those for even more than the market 3000%
