I suppose it's people's preference but, what do you mean with no in-game sound, did you even watch the video or how could you let 90 % of the in-game sounds slide past? -.- Somebody else tell me there are no in-game sounds here. :<

Don't know if it's my settings, but the music was way higher than any in-game sound so I really couldn't hear it.

3 times air rocket (saying that the opponent is already in mid air and get hits successfully three times without interaction from the environement) is impossible in UT.
1. the rockets won't hit cuz netcode sux, 1/3 rockets miss :P
2. ok so u actually hit the first 2 then what? (hint = death)
3. ok so he had belt, u hit him twice, just to place the third rocket. though by now your opponent has gone as far as hitting an object, u can't keep him in mid air in ut, if he doesn't move horizontally he will fall to the ground since the rockets move so slowly there is no way to hit an opponent so that he can fly straight up. its not gonna happen.

Nice frags, nice editing skills, but we have seen this before. There is nothing extraordinary imho. And i think, that >20 mins is a little bit to long. ~10 mins is a good length for fm.

-partially very one-sided frags, 1000 sniper and asmd kills, some of them werent even good (or worth to put it in such a great movie)
-no single pulse or mini kill (why?)
-some scenes shown in the end were boring

although one of the best UT99 movies.

No crosshair is considered good with ut99 movies, but that's up to the movie maker imo.
I think the reason why this movie doesn't have more non-hitscan kills is because non of these frags were searched for or set up. I think another reason is that subz didn't use that much 1on1 demo's, where you have weird frags a lot more.
Pulse and mini kills are considered to be not special at ut99. That's because we think that they are so easy.

any rating or review depends on personal taste.
i dont like movies without crosshair.
rocket and asmd kills are usually more impressive than kills with pulse/mini. i hadnt complained about this point, if there were some pulse/mini frags in it. but there is just no single pulse/mini frag in it.
incidentally there are always some impressive runs with pulse/mini, especially if its for example midair. pulse/mini frags also can be spectacular.

Watch the outtakes then, the mini kills are not worth showing, none of us in the clan are particulary very skilled with the weapon so it wouldnt seem as an amazing kill, there are 2 pulse primary airfrags in the outtakes video though, take a look at that, it's included in the archive.

So pulse/mini frags are considered easy but you're not skilled enough with these weapons?

It's a finisher weapon, and we don't have the skill, and tbh i know only one guy, which could have the skill, that'd show these kills as something extraordinary. What everybody else kills with these weapons, is everyday stuff, not worth for a movie really. Atleast in most cases. But yeah i could do with a better shaft! :D

Well subz i gotta give it up for you, u dit an OMG job at the editing, very very very very nice job!!! Deep respect. Also I thought the part with the speech was very original, it gave me goosebumps, and well that's a very big [+]!!! Also I liked most of the music, I caught myself nodding with the beats, so that's also great. The frags in the start were so so, but they got better and better, i especially liked fusie his ultra kill, and some of terra and modz their frags :)
Very very nice job again..

sorry dont care much for UT anymore and I didn't say the frags weren't real, I was talking about your superserious practise games. sure there was some good stuff on good players but I don't know who's hot and who's not anymore anyway, not to talk of the maps of which some were new and looked all but good, and don't come tell me davidm2 is nowhere near a serious map, although I'm happy you take pride in "waiting for someone to come up the lifts" frags, since that's got a lot of dignity :)

what's there to doubt ? the only section I really remember of the movie was some good spree on Liandri vs Hankey's clan, other stuff (content, not editing ofcourse) was pretty much anyone's work. :)

and about experience thingy dunno, sempy fooled me in lucky 7 I really liked that until I heard that a large portion of the frags were kinda fake jumpmatch stuff and prearrangements, still it was kinda entertaining. this looked legit though :) big plus for that! GL in future and keep it up, keep the community alive that's great! no reason for further flame I hope.

Yes, I'm rather newskool and became known when you were already gone for some time in the scene. And what considers serious maps, my theory is that it depends on yourself how serious a game is. I can play DM-Cube serious if needed, which means timing the items, not letting enemy have any chances, map lockdown (whatever that'd look in DM-Cube), but the idea is that if you don't fool around yourself, you're playing serious, and not trying to get a good frag, which is exactly what you mentioned about Lucky 7. And that's how most of my practice games look, I don't have fun when I'm not trying to win, but instead jumping like a idiot to get hit, or trying to hit somebody in the air when the opponent is constantly bootjumping, which is practicaly a total setup. I've had these, and I have never used those demos, the frag value decreases just too much for me. And again about the maps seriousness, I've played DavidM2 serious a couple of times and it's really a nice map, then again if you fool around it gets turned into the elevator fragmagnet. Of course some may disagree with this but it's just my opinion. :D

I think someone should make a frag-setup movie, just to see how bad frags can be in ut, that could be fun :D

I had the idea once, of course theres alot of sick shit possible if it's setup :p

think that's done couple of times by some local mates of mine

however they used nicks of such players who make these frag-based movies and other players, had a good laugh :D
