I'm not saying dkt is a bad player, nor am I saying that rocketboy or python are bad players either (lots of respect to all three gamers actually), however for a professional gamer that is sponsored to go to these events his aim is definitely nothing special and is almost a weakness in his case. Usually in a duel you would try to exploit your opponent's weakness, would you not? And yes, you are right, outaiming someone is not the proper way to win duels, however, it is possible. And when you consider the fact that aiming is a part of the game, one would think the better aimer would have at least a slightly better chance to come out on top.

I also didn't say anything of the sort about rocketboy and python not understanding the game. Nor did I say anything about me having superior knowledge of the game (nor do I claim to). Just analyze what people say first instead of just flaming like a retard next time.

Which part of that DOESN'T reflect badly upon python/rocketboy in light of their placings? You don't seem to understand that you being able to get 40% shaft and 60% rail on your local duel servers is a completely different affair from getting those stats against top players, just look at demos of some of the best players dodging and that shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out.

What benefit would it be to 'aim-rape' everyone on the internet in practise games when he is trying to learn how to effectively play the maps on a mind level, don't forget that DKT was never a highly active Q3 dueler nor was he ever in the upper echelons.

actually it's his tactics that suck, his aim is good and his lg was able to push python and rb around alot

on another note...i've seen players who couldn't afford to attend the competition absolutely destroy destrukt in 1v1's. such a joke of a competition.

k. alright, dkt is maybe not in real top of players, but before this tourney nobody actually believe he could do anything and even get place at podium. he beat rocketboy and python - they are not some random noobs. a lil bit more respect for player who can fly half of the world to enter tournament and be underdog fighting with gamers who are much active in q3 than he ever was. but dunno about he preparing to cpl - did he play with fat1 in he's pro-cave or what? with walter maybe? ;)

that ztn game was nice and enjoyable

dkt was doing ok, I think he'll watch that and notice how much tiny mistakes make that much of a difference

you guys need to remember they were playing on 16 ms tft LCD monitors. even jibo's %s are lower by at least 10% of his average. very difficult to aim

CPL admin can post it somewhere, maybe?

CPMA 1.35 doesn't support Multi view. 1.36 was tested at ASUS Summer if I recall correctly and it did support it but obviously the demos/etc are not available at the moment.

current cpma (1.35) only supports mvd when you use prosounds, which is not really prefered by the majority of vq3 players for quite obvious reasons :D

what are the reasons ?

it is very different to the sound system the vq3 players are used to from OSP. example: on ztn you can hear a player pick up items in the YA/PG room while you're at GL platform, and in general you'll hear alot more which screws up your orientation sense alot

Heh... Well since you have provided nill error messages it's difficult to help you ;)

No error messages mate, it just does the typical Q3 thing; goes to load the demo and exits to menu.

Basic error search:

Delete all pk3 files from cpma dir (apart from 1.35 of course, and any hackish pk3s in baseq3 dir)

no one notice the sg bug?
on dm6 at 7.00 dkt hits jibo full with sg but cpma doesnt register the hit ;/

Looks weird indeed... But have seen far weirder stuff on gtv servers. If we had dkt's true pov demo we could tell for sure.

ive watched it also from jibos pov, he didnt take any damage =P
