No bug, time was up when the rocket hit =P For some reason it seems closer in the demo then when the game was played though, if anything, demo bugs =P

Which version of Monsoon is it. I have two and it still says I don't have it......

Create a folder called maps in your q4max folder and put l4dm1 and l4dm1_1 in. Now don't forget to use q4max 0.74b ... also ,the name of the folder has to be "q4max" ,so you can't call it "q4max074" or smth.
Worked for me.

Edit: Monsoon versions should be fine.

Q4max demo player said I was missing Monsoon.

y sorry about that ,i had to do what i said to get the demos working (kinda strange) so I was expecting it to be the same with you.
I got map_l4dm2.pk4,map_l4dm2_1.pk4,map_l4dm2_rc1.pk4,map_l4dm2x.pk4

i had the same problem with the "cooller vs fox" demo.

so here is the solution for me:

i played first the phrantic demo till the end. Till the end means i waited until the demo forces me to connect to the lan server they played.when i disconnected and tryed to play the demo of monsoon ..worked fine(lol)

edit 2: its more complicated than i thought.
example no2: same problem with " fox_vs_fooki_monsoon/galang" demo's.and their phrantic demo does not redirect you to their server ..so u cannot see l4dm2(2nd map they played after phrantic)
So.. (jesus!) i had to play again "cooller_vs_fox_phrantic" demo (this one redirects you to server 1) and then load the "fox_vs_fooki_monsoon" demo.At least this one when ends trying to redirect you to galang.. so i can watch galang too(after this one ofc)FFS u have to be completely retard to do such a things just to watch a f*cking demo(lol that makes me a retard).

Well this is the one way ^^.The other way is " /quit --> drink a cold beer "

Put both l4dm1 and l4dm1_1 in that folder. If that doesn't work I really dunno.

map_l4dm1.pk4 and map_l4dm1_1.pk4 are in q4base, q4max and q4max/maps

You are using q4max 0.74b and have that folder called q4max (not q4max07 or smth) ,right?

use 0.75?

Start a listen server on galang 1.1 (ie do multiplayer -> create server -> Dedicated = no) then once the map has loaded and you're in the game just quit out and from then on all demos of galang work fine. Why this works is beyond me but that error you're getting was also driving me crazy and that's how I fixed it.

didn't work.....loaded up galang, disconnected and tried to load the demo, same thing happened. I don't know why i can't play galang demos, phrantic demos work fine for me.

Did you load up galang from the list or scroll down to the bottom and choose galang 1.1?

Well, I hadn't...so i tired it. It looked like it was going to work, It actually showed galang as loading ..unlike before. Now i'm getting an error:

"Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION occurred at 3E3A8EF2 15380000:15380000 D:\Quake 4\Quake4.exe - base address 20000000"

i deleted my q4max folder...reinstalled with .75(ppl are saying it works). Now i can't get the maps to even show up in the "create server" option. I have the maps in every possible folder....what folder are they supposed to be in?

I put them in the q4max folder. So it's like D:/q4/q4max and the maps are in there or I could have put them in D:/q/q4base.

Depends on the facts but yeah most should probably put them in q4base but for me q4max is in fact the best place.

I downloaded the l4dm1 map (the one befor l4dm1_1) and then it worked for me even with q4max 0.75

I think they for som reason had both the old and the new galang and Monsoon on those server, so you hafto have them both to see the demo.

Yeah, the servers came with the wrong maps so we had to download the new maps and I guess it woulda taken to long to remove the old maps too =P

to play the demos u need to change the filename to something short like coollerphrantictox (or atleast one file without spaces etc)

place all maps in qmax place the demos in qbase/demos/

than load it up with q4replay always works

Tell me Vo0 seems Warsow interesting to you? Is it more entertining than Quake4 or Quake3? I am asking, because I want to play some FPS and to get better in it. You are the top Warsow player at the mom. so I hope you will give me some little advice :-)

hey anonymous, q3 is one of the ultimate fps games but yeah in the past. though there's still a bit of q3 compy around but it's sorta a game in the past and many prefer to move forward then backwards. q4 itself is a disappointment likewise to all the comments made and many quitting the q4 scene.. take a look at gamespy u can see just a few handful are playing compared to many other games. i suggest u move into warsow.. put more time and effort in it ,this game free ,much more fun ,much more competitive.. thats all the reasons u need :)
